Just finished another failed attempt to use my LankaBell CDMA phone on Ubuntu. It connects to internet but I cannot view any web pages. I got this far thanks to this article by Kalpa Pathum Welvitigoda.

I think you need real drivers. Buy a router+ADSL modem and ADSL internet connection. Then you can view web pages.
